Local Man Achieves Perfect Score on 'Home Alone' Quiz He Didn't Know He Was Taking

MATANZAS, CUBA - Local thief Roberto Martinez, 40, has posthumously been awarded the prestigious 'Kevin McCallister Memorial Trophy' after demonstrating an uncanny ability to locate and activate homemade security devices with 100% accuracy.

Martinez, who had been pursuing a career in unauthorized property redistribution for several years, stumbled upon what experts are calling 'the most comprehensive practical exam in residential security systems ever administered.'

'It's really quite remarkable,' said Dr. Elena Vasquez, Professor of Applied Slapstick at the University of Havana. 'Most burglars manage to avoid at least some of the traps. Roberto found every single one. It's like he had a GPS for booby traps.'

The homeowner, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed mixed feelings about the incident. 'I mean, I'm glad my security system worked, but I was really hoping someone would appreciate my craftsmanship before triggering it. Roberto gave it a very thorough field test.'

Local police are now recommending that the homeowner's trap-building skills be recognized by the Cuban Ministry of Creative Problem Solving, noting that the system achieved a 100% success rate in its first real-world application.

Martinez's family has announced plans to establish a scholarship in his name for aspiring security system testers, though they're still working out the logistics of a sustainable training program.
