Local Man Changes Title of His Dungeons & Dragons Campaign After Realizing He Misspelled 'Dorn' As 'Dorne' For 3 Years

AKRON, OH - After three years of running what he claimed was an epic fantasy campaign titled 'Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,' local Dungeon Master Gerald Tinklebottom sheepishly announced to his gaming group that he would be changing the finale title and "going to Dorne" - which he now admits was supposed to be "going to Dorn's office" all along.

"I kept telling everyone we'd eventually explore the mystical desert lands of Dorne, but honestly I just really needed to get my teeth cleaned," explained Tinklebottom, adjusting his foam wizard hat. "Dr. Dorn has been leaving increasingly aggressive voicemails about my missed appointments, so I figured I'd just work it into the campaign somehow."

The revelation came during last Tuesday's session when player Jennifer Martinez questioned why all the NPCs in "Dorne" wore scrubs and kept asking characters to open their mouths and say "ahh."

"Gerald had us roll for initiative against something called a 'Tartar Dragon,' and I started getting suspicious," said Martinez. "Then he described the final boss as 'a cavity so deep it threatens to destroy the entire molar kingdom.'"

Tinklebottom's gaming group has reportedly agreed to continue the dental-themed campaign on the condition that he actually schedules his long-overdue cleaning appointment. Dr. Dorn's office could not be reached for comment, as they were reportedly "too busy laughing" to answer the phone.
