Local Man Dies After Accidentally Wandering Into World's Most Expensive Escape Room at Mar-a-Lago

PALM BEACH, FL — A Florida man met an untimely end early Sunday morning after what witnesses describe as a tragic case of mistaken identity involving what he believed to be an elaborate themed restaurant experience at Mar-a-Lago.
According to Secret Service reports, 43-year-old Gary Flemsworth of Boca Raton had purchased a Groupon for what he thought was "An Exclusive Golden Dinner Adventure: Solve Puzzles, Meet Celebrities, Eat Hamberders!" before scaling the resort's perimeter fence at 2 AM.
"He kept shouting about wanting to speak to the manager about his reservation," said Agent Maria Gonzalez. "He seemed genuinely confused when we told him this wasn't a restaurant. He had brought his own ketchup and everything."
Flemsworth's widow, Janet, told reporters her husband had been "really excited about the escape room aspect" and had spent weeks practicing lock-picking tutorials on YouTube. "He said the reviews mentioned something about 'classified documents' being hidden around the property as clues. Gary loved a good treasure hunt."
The Secret Service has since launched an investigation into how a Groupon listing for "Trump's Golden Palace Mystery Dining" accumulated over 847 five-star reviews before being taken down. Local authorities are also looking into reports of similar listings for the White House described as "DC's Hottest New Underground Speakeasy."
"This is exactly why I only eat at Applebee's," commented local resident Dorothy Martinez. "At least there, the only thing trying to kill you is the food."
