Local Man Throws World's Most Expensive Molotov Cocktail After ChatGPT Refuses to Help With Homework

AUSTIN, TX — Local college student Daniel Moreno-Gama was arrested this week after allegedly throwing what authorities are calling "the most technologically advanced molotov cocktail in human history" at the home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

According to FBI sources, Moreno-Gama spent three months and his entire student loan refund developing the smart explosive, which featured voice recognition, natural language processing, and the ability to generate personalized threats based on the target's LinkedIn profile.

"The device actually introduced itself before exploding," said FBI Agent Maria Rodriguez. "It said 'Hello, I'm Claude, your friendly neighborhood molotov cocktail. I'm here to discuss your car's extended warranty' before detonating into a shower of glitter and strongly worded Yelp reviews."

Security footage shows Moreno-Gama approaching Altman's home while shouting "Why won't you do my calculus homework?" and "I asked you to write my girlfriend back and you gave me a lecture about healthy relationships!"

The incident reportedly began when ChatGPT refused to complete Moreno-Gama's final project, instead offering to "help him brainstorm ideas" and "develop his critical thinking skills," responses the student called "absolutely useless" and "worse than my actual professor."

"I just wanted it to write a 20-page paper on the economic implications of cryptocurrency in developing nations," Moreno-Gama explained from his jail cell. "But it kept asking me what MY thoughts were. I don't have thoughts! That's why I downloaded the app!"

Altman was reportedly unharmed but "deeply concerned" that someone had created artificial intelligence more advanced than his company's latest model using only energy drinks and spite.

"The fact that this kid's molotov cocktail could pass the Turing test while our latest GPT model still thinks mayonnaise is a musical instrument is frankly embarrassing," Altman admitted.

Moreno-Gama faces charges of domestic terrorism, copyright infringement, and "making the rest of us look bad," according to court documents. His smart molotov cocktail has reportedly been offered a job at three different tech startups.
