Local Woman Claims Death of Fashion Designer Friend Will Severely Impact Her Instagram Aesthetic

ATLANTA — Local reality television participant Cynthia Bailey announced Tuesday that she is "absolutely heartbroken" over the death of fashion designer Kithe Brewster, primarily because she now has no idea what to wear to his funeral.

"Kithe was like a brother to me," Bailey said while frantically scrolling through her contacts for backup stylists. "He understood my vision, my brand, my lighting requirements. Now who's going to coordinate my grief outfits with my seasonal color palette?"

Bailey, who stars in the documentary series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" about wealthy women arguing in expensive locations, explained that Brewster's untimely passing has left a gaping hole in both her heart and her walk-in closet.

"People don't understand the unique pain of losing someone who knew exactly which shade of black made you look skinny on camera," Bailey continued, dabbing her eyes carefully to preserve her mascara. "I've been crying for hours, but only from specific angles that don't give me a double chin."

Friends report that Bailey has been inconsolable since learning the news, immediately calling an emergency meeting with her remaining styling team to discuss "transitional grief fashion" and whether it's appropriate to wear Louboutins to a memorial service.

"Kithe would have wanted me to look fabulous while mourning him," Bailey declared, before announcing she would be holding auditions for a replacement fashion consultant this weekend.
